Sales & Commissions

I paint for the love of it, but storage room (and enjoying the painting process so much) mean I'm happy to consider every work as 'sellable' or take on a commission for you.  I don't sell prints, just original watercolours and line and wash sketches.
The simplest pricing option is for an unframed, unmounted original sent protected in a postal tube or protectively flat packed (for thicker papers that won't roll up into a 75mm tube). This keeps shipping costs way down and leaves you freedom to have any mounting and framing you want. I can, of course, mount and frame as required. Larger works in glazed frames can't really be shipped safely so we'd need to arrange personal collection or delivery for those.

I mostly paint in sizes from A4 (~9x11") to Full Imperial (30"x22") and use professional archive-quality materials throughout.  My original paintings run from £50 -100 unmounted + shipping at cost. Mounting and framing can be expensive, but I'm happy to use recycled frames if you are (though not always available). Simply drop me a line if you see anything that interests you and I'll respond with price information and options asap. Even if it's already sold I may paint another similar that might suit you.

I don't charge extra for commissioned work (as I'd be painting anyway) unless there are other costs involved (like significant travel). If I come to you to paint your house or view I'd normally finish on the day.   All sales -including commissions -are subject to your complete satisfaction or return.
